HIT is a technology company dedicated to understanding brain health and optimizing performance by prioritizing safety in sports. Our focus is on supporting short and long-term neurocognitive and neurophysiological well-being. Built on rigorous research on sub concussive and concussive impacts, conducted with leading universities and experts, our wearable technology is academically validated and scientifically proven.Β

Our mission is to make sports safer for everyone involved in impact-prone or helmeted activities. We want to keep athletes on the field, parents stress free and continue to drive the possibilities of concussion technology.Β

We are dedicated to detecting the often-invisible effects of head impacts, ensuring transparency and providing a greater understanding of these injuries. Whether you’re an elite athlete, a recreational player, or a child, we believe every brain deserves the highest level of protectionβ€”because you only get one!Β

Our vision is to mandate concussion management and protocol across all high impact sports.Β We are committed to increasing elite sports participation and recreational sports involvement by making them safer through prioritizing brain health. This not only aids recovery management and reduces secondary trauma but can improve performance too.Β

The lack of information available for an invisible and often symptomless head injury can be detrimental to recovery and performance.

Because your brain lacks nociceptors, the nerve fibers responsible for detecting pain cannot alert you of an injury. Unlike the feeling of muscle fatigue after a long run or gym workout, brain fatigue comes in the form of cognitive, psychological and physical symptoms which can often be disregarded or mistaken for everyday life. So, just as you wouldn't exercise the same muscle group two days in a row, your brain also needs rest to restore.Β Β

Just like your heart, your brain is also the most important organ in your body, controlling vital functions. However, it’s hugely under researched with existing research primarily focused on elite and male athletes. Additionally, head impacts in children and the effect on their learning abilities remains largely under researched. β€˜Return to learn’ is gaining interest amongst concerned guardians and schools are starting to pay greater attention to the well-being of their pupils. Similarly, those with neurodiverse conditions can experience worsened symptoms. Recent research shows that athletes with ADHD can experience more severe and prolonged symptoms post head impact.Β Β

By being part of the HIT community, you are enabling us to generate more diverse research allowing us to access a broader range of sports and genders.

Our wearable technology, equipped with advanced impact monitoring and analysis, presents a game-changing solution for safety in sports and impact-prone activities.

The device measures intensity of tri axial linear impacts (G-Force), it assessesΒ rotational forces on the head and takes into consideration speed and elevation generating a comprehensive data set for real-time impact analysis.Β

HIT technology is backed by research. It analyses information in real-time and
helps eliminates uncertainty. The tech provides transparency of the magnitude
of impacts and guidance as to what action is advised allowing parents, coaches and individuals to make data-driven decisions with complete confidence about when you or your child should return to play or seek medical assistance, thus helping to manage post impact recovery, enhancing performance and preventing risk of secondary trauma.

This technology is an innovative step toward safeguarding amateur and professional
athletes while empowering them and their coaches or guardians with full transparency and actionable insights. Through accumulative impact readings, HIT is actively providing live data on brain fatigue to make sure athletes can be at their peak for competition and ensuring the safety of sports enthusiasts and children.Β Β

Our innovative, data-driven tech means you can have peace of mind in deciding when a user should return to play, seek rest or further medical guidance.Β

Our scientifically proven data-driven tech is essential to creating a safer future
for you and generations to come.Β Β
